Lost avatar

Still not managed to regain my avatar,sent three e-mails to Gravatar about problem but not had any reply.

Have you done as factor30 told you in your previous posting.....Clicked 'Activate Avatar' on your AB Profile page.

This whole thing has puzzled me. Are you saying you avatar no longer exists on Gravatar- I can't work out why you were having to reload it on there?

Gravatar can be quite long-winded, I notice when trying to upload a new photo there's a large (time) gap where nothing appears to be happening then all of a sudden it does.

This all stems from the fact that I have changed my e-mail address and although they are the same on gravatar and Ab my avatar will not download form my hard drive.

But I don't see why you need to download it- it was on Gravatar before and should still be there

Maybe you have tried to set up a new Gravatar account and load a pcicture rather than just retaining your original Gravatar account

According to gravatar I do not have an avatar, although thewre is one showing in my Gravatar account/

No Ed I did not see this but I have recieved e-mail from Gravatar to my new e-mail address.

Okay, that is what you should see when you log in to gravatar.

Unless you can see the 'blue box' you will not know if you are actually using the same E/mail address for both AB and Gravatar. Are you able to log into Gravatar? I can by just putting-in my password..no need for entering my e/mail address to log-in.

Although Gravatar has replied to your present E/mail address it doesn't follow that that is the one which is on Computer record against your Avatar.

If you can see any avatars on your logged in gravatar page , click it!

Oops. Sorry, you can see a blue box. So do as the Ed has advised and click an Avatar below the box...If there is one that is.
