boxtops....It's the way postings are edited which sometimes puzzles me. During the past month or two there have been some strange happenings. Hence my feeling that perhaps we had a new Ed.

"postings are edited".... who edits posts? They either stay, or go. Doesn't Ed delegate responsibility for some of that to the mods? perhaps it depends which mods are around when you have been looking. I am sure if any Ed didn't like what a mod is doing, he'd soon tell 'em.

Ron - trying to be constructive here! If you spent less time in Eds Blog/Suggs and more time joining in in the other 30 categories + sub topics you probably wouldn't even notice the different styles of the different Eds.

You seem to hardly ever join in and mainly just post to moan about things. If you're not joining in then what does it matter to you what changes there are to the site?
