...get rid of that flashing ad, you know the one I mean, as it completely freezes the screen. Is there no way you can get rid of it?

Ed - you can tell these advertising people that the Goodfellas Pizza ad is causing me to turn off in my droves.
Goodbye.
May I ask a question.?

Could it be that, all of you goodfellas who are experiencing problems, perhaps are using Internet Explorer; which causes all sorts of strange things to happen. ??.

Firefox Hans.

@methyl....I am Not suggesting that IE is insecure. Merely saying that it is Not without problems......Particularly in relation to compatibility with AB.

Hence the reason for me wishing to know if those who are experiencing adverts freezing their screens are in fact using Internet Explorer.

Hans.

Yes I was on IE, I'm just giving Chrome a try, undecided at the moment, but no sign of the Goodfella.
I have never seen it, either. Then again, I don't eat those things.
Has it gone yet?
Whilst I know it's verbotten to speak about 'software' I have to say I'm frankly amazed at how many users put up with epilepsy-inducing adverts.

Just saying, like.......

Shoota, no sign of it on 'Chrome'

Yes, I'm still on Chrome and thankfully there's no sign of it. Hope it doesn't find us! What about you, vakayu?

Tilly, I don't eat 'those things' either!
@ChillDoubt....I think you are now making reference to the AB which we are obliged to refrain from mentioning on AB.:-)

A perfect 'set-up' is Firefox with AB as an 'add-on' for trouble free performance within AB........If what I am saying makes sense. !!

Hans.
Dear Ed, still having probs with AB freezing with the pizza ads.
I don't get any flashing Ad, is it your browser?

Cupid, not had it since I went to 'Chrome'
Logged in first thing today on IE, just to check, it was back again straight away, only on AB.

Boxy, see my links @ 14:35 here, only on AB

Might try chrome then. Didn't particularly like it last time. But if it stops it...
Thanks for the suggestion.

It does the job, and it doesn't deliver Pizza!!

(and I'm getting used to it)
But why aren't we being listened to?
Good question shoota
