Several times when I've gone to links within threads I've gotten this:
The page at www.mobillean-tivirus.com says....and then it tells me my phone has 13 viruses and to follow the instructions to remove them. Needless to say...I haven't.

It looks like there's a dodgy ad somewhere on AB: http://www.androidauthority.com/mobile-scareware-ads-338182/ Email the Ed ( theeditor@theanswerbank.co.uk ) to let him know about it.

Ditto. Driving me nuts.
Default galaxy siii mini broswer.
It actually redirects the webpage elsewhere and is making this place intolerable. Especially when it does it mid-typing a reply post.

Nothing here...yet.
When it's bad,I can be on another site like Amazon. If an AB page is open this "warning" will pop up with AB under it...and the page I was on is gone.
Has anyone else had any problems today?
same here pasta - do we know what the virus is called? I'm just nipping over to Technology to see if anyone can help get rid
It was still there this morning on my Hudl.
No sign of it for me today. I ran avast app (on HTC mobile) and all seems quiet... For now!
Clear on tablet atm, hope its fixed
Uho, its back on tablet. Am on iphone now

It's baaack! :-(
I am getting it on my Hudl 2.
Any progress being made on elimination of the pesky varmint?
still happening :-(
twice tonight AB has been replaced by an ad for Flirchi. It's been happening a lot lately, not always this paricular ad. I have the page open, maybe look away at TV for a minute and when I come back AB is gone and this is on the tab. Chrome on a laptop.
Now it's just happened again with 'we are BAOBAB'
so glad you posted this pasta.
Yesterday i found alarming message to tell me my Hudle has a virus, and how to click onto this and that to get rid of it!
It only happens when on AB, not on f/book, or yahoo mail.
It doesnt happen on my laptop at all. is it a scam?
Yup it's back!
Still happening : -(
back here too !
Still here too ... I find if I hit the back button I can get back to here ... after a couple of hits ..
I can not stress enough how this ad must be stopped. I have rebooted my mobile twice already today because the thing would not react to the back button when the browser was hijacked by the ad. This site is unusable (by any realistic standard) by mobile devices at present. (No I've not tried the special mobile site, I do not much care for it. I'm on the main site.)

Can you not swop to a decent ad provider instead of whatever cowboy, non-reacting firm you are presently with ?
