Maybe you were already logged in without realising.

I've been logged in since about 2009.
I accidentally logged out the other evening and was lost for a while as to how to get back in , like NoM never sign out.
Every time you clear your cache you will be required to log back in.
I never log out but every time I close my iPad (not switch it off) I have to sign in.

No I particularly logged out - and was out for 3 or 4 days and also was still logged out when I decided to just ignore the X - "you are logged out".

You can then read all the posts but cannot SUBMIT - I definitely was logged out and couldn't believe I could submit. Maybe it was a one-off
maybe your computer remembers your password, if you don't clear your cache it remembers passwords
Since I joined, my password has stayed logged in.
I clear my cache regularly but don't let it mess with my remembered passwords - my idea of hell.
I think I'm like that, my passwords are safe, thankfully, I can't remember them
I clear my cache every week, then when I click on anything in Ab a message comes up asking me to log in but that message also includes my log in details so it only requires a click to log back in.
Showing my ignorance here but what is a cache?
one website I visited needed a password, so typed in forgotten.
Great, can't remember the blooming website now.

The older alba wanted to use the desktop, but obviously no password, too him longer to go and find it out and type it in than he was actually on the website
Hi JJ - your browser likely remembered it. You can start writing a response before hitting submit, which would then ask you to log in. If you computer remembered your details then you would be automatically logged in and your answer posted.

You were not able to log in without supplying the site with a password.
Thanks danny
