Could you explain why you think that, am curious.
Why should they be?
For what reason?
threads don't usually get removed unless they're full of impropriety. They may have their stickiness removed and be allowed to fade away discreetly. However, the section is called Editor's Blog and she can keep them sticky as long as she wants.

Just asking a simple question, but for those who insist on being a little picky I didn't mean removed altogether just not occupying the top three spots.

After all the late Ed stated that he was closing his thread back in June.
Still some good fun reading to be had though.

Ta for explaining.
yes, that's what I thought you meant; it's being stickies that keeps them on top. I suppose in the Blog section there aren't a lot of posts pouring in anyway so it doesn't matter, nothing's being kept from its rightful place at the top of the pile.
Stop saying 'sticky' - I keep reaching for the antibac wipes;-)
sticky,sticky,sticky sticky
where's Patsy with her sticky thighs?
I don't know any other words, I think the idea is like a Post-It, which is just s***** enough to stay in view but not enough to require scrubbing with Dettol.

Last read and commented on, on 30th June, 5th July, and 14th July.
