32 Answers
I recently started a thread which reached the dizzy heights of 727 answers before it was closed down for some reason.
Does anyone know what is the record number of answers in a News section thread and what news item did it concern?

Thanks for that Andy, but regarding the closure of the thread, you could be right but on the other hand providing no rules are broken, I can't see why a thread needs to be closed while enough ABers find it interesting enough to continue contributing to it, after all what real harm is done? //
You're welcome.
Personally, I think that all threads have a natural life, and when people are finished, they simply stop receiving posts, and that's that.
The closure of threads is a matter of an individual Moderator, or the Editorial Team, and with the exception of the Editorial Team of course, Moderators don't know who has closed any thread, or why.

As a matter of interest PP, that "lady" was on several forums....both as herself, as her estranged husband and as her father in law..."she" was also on a dating forum as her estranged husband....same story, same user name but told from the angle of the various participants. What a struggle it must have been to keep straight in "her" head who she was where.....
