Ads

I'm fed up with ads continuously popping up and covering the Answer box. I have no sooner deleted one than the next one appears. Is there any way to stop this? It has only happened recently. I can't post anything without having to zap all the time!

These posts would probably make a lot more sense to the Ed (and to AB's techies) if people could say what type of device, and which web browser, they're using.
I'm using Slimjet on a Windows 10 laptop, with the browser's built-in adblocker disabled on this site. Although I see ads at the foot of the screen, I'm able to scroll down the page far enough so that the answer box is well above any ads. (Buenchico pauses here to take a screenshot of what he's typing right now: https:/ /ibb.co /vjCj7r Q ).
When video ads (with accompanying audio content) appear at the foot of my screen, they're always pre-muted. So (unless I actively turn the sound on), I never hear the audio.
Past experience has shown that most of the people who have problems with AB's ads are using iPads, with Safari as their chosen browser. Perhaps something similar is occurring again now?
