Who would have the last the word? That's the question isn't it? What's the point of censorship? Where would it end? It gives people the opportunity to show their arrogance by thinking they are more moralistic than others. Why would anyone want to be a moderator, not just on this site, but on any website? To impose their own, perhaps mis-guided, perceptions of things?

Looking back at various replies on this thread, and lots of others on the website, the rules are constantly broken. And by moderators, amongst others. But that's ok, isn't it?

People break the rules in some instances because they know nothing will be done about it, as in life. Other than that, everything's fine thanks! :o)

One instance of censorship, but not on here. In the film, The Bourne Identity, there is a scene in an apartment in Paris, where Bourne is fighting with the Asset, who has been sent to eliminate him. During that fight, in the DVD of the film, Bourne rams a ball pen into the back of the assets' hand. The asset then slowly withdraws the pen. This scene is edited out when shown on television, as is the rapid exit from the apartment where Bourne and the girl run past the apartment owner, who has been shot in the forehead by the asset. Some snow flakey censor at the tv studio found that too much, so it would be too much for you as well, so you aint gonna see it! The censor swoops!

10CS do you report any post that breaks the rules?

There are 2 breaches of Site Rules on Page 6 of this thread. I haven't looked back any further but I know there will be more.
I've only ever made one report to Ed in all my 17 years on this site.

This will mean those who don't like particular posters will always 'gang' up against them

For example - Let's face it the number of posters on here with a particular political hue

When using italics, quoting a fellow member, what it is meant for originally you shouldn't have to edit the perfectly correct punctuation so it'll work.

i would LOVE it if you could install a feature that when people are suspended, they can still post, but only they can see it, so they wonder why no-one is responding to them
