Corby. No-one on here has to have ed's approval to post and it really isn't your place to say what secret mod should or should not do. It makes you sound like a 'teachers pet' lighten up. Besides everything secretmod has said is accurate.

I don't really care whether secretmod did or didn't get clearance, all I care about is that what they said is all any AB member needs to know.

I understand that other Mods may well suspend me but should that happen I may well switch accounts and reinstate myself myself. Ha!

I am sure that I am not the only Mod who is fed up of the complaints made about us or the site and of all the misunderstandings. I am not sure that peace and harmony will erupt on the site if people took my advice to heart but I think we can all agree that something needs to be done.

If someone has multiple usernames, that is not allowed normally.

If an ED agreed something three year ago, who's to say that applies still under the current EDs?

It does not appear unreasonable to me to suggest seeking approval first but that's just my opinion.

It might just be a wind-up anyway.

And it's not your place to have issues with the way it's been done unless you are on the staff. It's up to what the Ed thinks . It shows a lot of initiative. I'm sure that the Ed will approve. Perhaps he will be made a senior secret agent!

I doubt it, since your second username would be banned as per the Site Rules, not suspended.

I thought mods were exempt from being suspended by other mods? Have I got that wrong?

I believe that is correct but the second account won't have the status of being a Mod so any Mod could suspend or ban that username.
