The role of the AnswerBank Editor is to maintain the quality of the website content. It is not to get involved in personal disputes between users. The harassment and bullying occurring on the site is now affecting the quality of the website.

The sly digs and conversations full of insinuations are being dragged across different threads and categories. It's making the site unpleasant.

Regular and well-established members should know better. It's a shame that those involved are regular and longstanding.

We're implementing a zero-tolerance stance when it comes to this now.

Moderators, please suspend well-established users if they involve themselves with this ongoing drama. If we feel the suspension is justified then we will leave it in place indefinitely.

There are two regular posters who really drag this site down. One who can be pedantic, and writes cryptic nonsense which derails every thread they post on with obscure balderdash- I wish it would Peter out, but so far it hasn't.

The other is an obsessed troll who writes daily bile against Boris and the government, repeating like a gulluble parrot the same doggerel day in, day out. His Liliputtian garbage infest this site like a worn-out gramophone, and is a big turn-off.

Everyone is welcome to their views, but these type of posts just turn anyone off, and are a very likely reason that this site has sadly gone to the dogs.

No, Guess, I really wouldn't. I am saddened to see what this site has become. It's not without hope, but it will mean that any rules will have to be applied fairly and without prejudice. Which is very challenging for anyone tasked with moderating this site, I expect.
