Our Woodelf Has Passed On...
58 Answers
It is with great sadness that I'm letting everyone know that Woodelf (Terry) passed away this morning in Basingstoke Hospital at around 5:30, succumbing to the cancers that had taken a virulent hold.
I've just spoken with his partner, who is holding up remarkably well & she knows I'm posting this thread.
Terry was a wonderful, funny, gifted man & it was my pleasure to have met him at his home a couple of times. He stubbornly refused to allow his blindness to affect his life overmuch & would in fact joke about it with me. I will miss him greatly, as I know everyone here will.
RIP Terry, my friend.

I was in fairly regular touch with Terry - initially about techy stuff, but more recently just general craic and good humour.
I shall miss his emails and his indomitable spirit - a talented artist and a truly gentle man.
I'm raising a glass to you now, my friend - Sláinte Terry.
