Our Woodelf Has Passed On...

It is with great sadness that I'm letting everyone know that Woodelf (Terry) passed away this morning in Basingstoke Hospital at around 5:30, succumbing to the cancers that had taken a virulent hold.

I've just spoken with his partner, who is holding up remarkably well & she knows I'm posting this thread.

Terry was a wonderful, funny, gifted man & it was my pleasure to have met him at his home a couple of times. He stubbornly refused to allow his blindness to affect his life overmuch & would in fact joke about it with me. I will miss him greatly, as I know everyone here will.

I shall miss his emails and his indomitable spirit - a talented artist and a truly gentle man.

I am saddened by this news but Terry is free from all his pain. Just 25 days after he had the diagnosis but he must have gone through so much before that. My sincere condolences to his partner.
