Ed, Where Is The Rationale?

I posted a GMEB thread at 03:16 today. Some 18 minutes later a duplicate GMEB thread was also posted. My thread was later removed.

Why is consistency not applied?

Is this some sort of bragging rights? //and I had 50+ responses // Yes, well. Twenty of them from "train boy" within 45 minutes?

I seriously think that if a morning thread has already been posted, a second shouldn't be. The nonsense leaves a bad taste whenever it happens - and that is all too frequently. It's a shame you can't all agree to differ about whatever it is you differ about - and just move on. That would be the grown up thing to do.
naomi, your moderation is inconsistent, see your post at 06:33 and compare with your others at 06:34 & 06:51. Were you showing support/favouritism for one user over another? Someone might view it that way.
I disagree with your statement at 06:39 - I was neither petty nor silly. This thread was raised on a matter of principle and clarity.

But that doesn’t fit with removing the first one. I appreciate that both posts were early and so may not have been spotted by a mod but that is not good.
Do mods work to any shift pattern covering the whole 24hrs?

Choux, if anyone is shown favouritism on this thread, it's you. My criticism is of the second thread posted. When it results in disputes between grown women who should know better over who's posting what should be a pleasant little thread, this on-going feud is petty and silly - but you are of course at liberty to disagree.
