"Please Support The Answerbank" Flyer

As of today, I'm getting this message superimposed on every page, not even on each topic, - every page!
It has to be deleted before I can read the page.
Is this only happening to me please, or is this a new policy?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Apologies for the delay in responding to this with an update. The popups functionality is implemented utilising a third party and we've been requesting a resolution.
Ordinarily, and for quite some time, the popups only showed once per week per visitor (device). We felt that this struck a good balance between needing to remind visitors about Donations and why they are needed, vs. the minor inconvenience of needing to dismiss the popup.
Since last week the third party appears to have been having issues. Whilst not directly in our control, we have now made the decision to disable the donation popups at this time; we agree this is not a great user experience and detracts from what we're trying to achieve with Donations.
Also, it's worth pointing out that Ads (not to be confused with the donations popup) are only displayed to Visitors who are not logged in to The AnswerBank. For our Members, we want to ensure the experience is as unobtrusive as possible, and given non-members are a larger proportion of our traffic, we made the decision some time ago (with popular support at the time) to remove Ads for logged-in users to make using The AnswerBank better for you all.
Apologies, once again, for the delay in looking into this.

Further to my update yesterday, we've now heard back from the third-party providers, who have confirmed that the pop-up should only show once weekly. We've tested this, and indeed this does appear to be the case. The only time that we've been able to replicate the issue where the ad shows every page load is by utilising an Incognito or similar browser. The pop-up utilises Cookies so that it can tell whether it has already shown the PopUp to a given user. If you'd like to avoid this issue, please ensure you are not using an Incognito browser.
YNNAFYMMI, "Is there a reason why advertisers arent on signed-in pages?"
A fair few folk objected to the amount of adverts as they were intrusive so the EDs stopped them for those who sign in.
In return, as the ads generated income for AB, a new method for raising money had to be introduced and that is why there is the "donate" button.
