Given that yesterday was the 1st anniversary of our friend Woodelf's (Terry) sad death, I thought some of you might like to see the tribute to him that was printed in the Daily Mail's "Extraordinary Lives" feature on Friday, March 22nd.

Written by his partner, Pam, she's perfectly happy for me to post it here.  I thought a screenshot would be ok as it's far easier than having to type it all out 🙂

How lovely. Very touching indeed.

Thank you L-I-K, very moving, and an astounding revelation about one of our earlier contributors.

Lovely tribute from Pamela. Saw "The Terry Fragments" online and was very impressed.

Thank you, Lie-in King.

What an inspiration Terry was ... an example to us all.

I can't believe it's been a year already?!

What an inspiration Terry was/is. Amazing man.

What a lovely tribute, thank you L-iK

What a beautiful and well deserved tribute.

He was a really nice guy.  It seems like only last month that he died - time flies by so quickly.

Thank you very much Lie - in - King.  X

I never realised that was Woodelf! What a beautifully written article x

What a wonderful tribute to an amazing person.  Well done, Pam, and thank you - and you LiK.

I wsh that I had known him personally. What an inspiring individual.

What an extraordinary tribute. Thank you L.I.K.

What a remarkable man.

Thanks for your post, Lie-in King.  That's a lovely piece from Pam.

By coincidence, I received an email today from the firm that was hosting Terry's website for free, telling me that they'd closed the site down due to very low web traffic.  Of course (being a business that's there to make money) they offered to let me get the site back online by switching over to their subscription service.

So I've just forked out about £70 to keep the site alive for the next two years, in memory of Terry.  (After all of the effort involved in getting the website anywhere near to how Terry wanted it to be, it seemed to be worth it.  Terry was very much a perfectionist!)

The old (rather complicated) web address will no longer work though.  Terry's site is now at https://theartsight.com .
(I might amend it one day, to reflect Terry's passing.  However it's just taken me well over an hour simply to get the site moved to its new address, so I'll leave it as it is for the time being).

I'll drop Pam a ine, to let her know about the new web address.  (I've only got her snail mail address, not an email one for her)

Thanks again, Lie-in King.

I only chatted to woodelf a few times but always thought a lovely fella

^^^ His emails were often literary masterpieces, Arky 😊

What a nice thing to do Chris.

Thanks LiK - I had regular emailings with Terry and miss him very much -  a lovely tribute from Pam.

Inspiring....that sums the article and him up in one word.
