Has it occured to you that you wouldn't be modding in isolation? The other mods would continue to operate behind the scenes as they have always done and as different people have different opinions over interpretation of the Site Rules, you'd be exactly where you are now but with a whole lot of grief aimed at you from ABers who would find you wholly responsible for their complaints.

TTT, Your posts are regularly removed for one misdemeanour in particular - calling other members by derogatory names. Why do you keep repeating it when you know it's unacceptable? And how would you deal with that if you were a mod?

That isn't trolling Tora, that's just a counterpoint to your posts begging Ed for some power. A trolling post is one that is designed to cause argument or cause offense. DDIL's post isn't provocative or deliberately offensive.
