HI everyone, I haven't been on here for a while so I am just checking in to see how everyone and their little (or big) ones are doing. My little girl is five months now amd it's gone so quickly! We don't have any teeth yet but she has discovered she can roll over and spends a lot of time shuffling herself around the floor, mostly going in circles, but it seems to keep her amused. She has also just realised that she can screech like a parrot, which she finds hilarious, and, admittedly, I did too..... for the first two days; we're now on day four and she will spend any time she is awake squawking away and chuckling at herself so much she has to stop to take a breath and begin squawking again. I can't wait until she discovers a new noise.... so what new and wonderful delights have yours discovered? Or if they're a lot bigger, what did they do that tickled you, but eventually drove you crackers?
Hope everyone is doing well xx

hellooooooooo
Our little ones are growing so fast arent they! Baby CRX is just like your little one, screaching and squealing and having great fun doing it.

Shes also on the move, she can spin and wriggle and move across the floor (albeit slowly thank god)

We are also teething! yuk, poor thing has bright red cheeks and a constant stream of drool lol

Little CRX is becoming a bit of a wotist this week as his nanna is staying, he plays up. The other day demanding that all the mushrooms be removed from his spag bol. We got them out and he pointed at another bit of food saying it was mushroom. When told it was pepper he said "but the peppers pretending to be a mushroom, get it out" pmsl.

words that were amusing last week and now driving me bonkers are "why?" and "cool" lol

aww nat thats lovely, glad that all is well. xx
Well hello there,

It's good to see you all, well you know what I mean. I haven't been on here for months as v busy but I've grabbed a spare moment to see how you all are. A little girl Nat, I'm really happy for you and you Red with your boy. It all seems like so long ago now.
Henry is 6 months old now and doing great. He is well on solids now, eating 3 home cooked meals (apart from breakfast) a day and loving it. I'm still breastfeeding even after all the pain and problems it has caused me. I have started weaning him off now as back to work in Nov. He is almost sitting up unaided and loves rolling around. He says DA DA DA alot. No teeth yet, but sore gums regularly. He's 20lbs now.
So, how are you all?
Oh and I forgot to say, he drinks from his own beaker, doesn't like mummy or daddy to hold it!! Sign of independance...uh oh!
P.P.S Have you lost all the baby weight? I am now back to 10 stone with a very small jelly belly, but nothing a few months at the gym won't sort out.
MB you lucky thing! ive lost a lot of weight but have a huge jelly belly!

well done you with the breastfeeding!
Afternoon all, I havent been on much either Nat, just dont seem to have the time. The piglet is doing fine, she is rolling around the floor and puting anything in sight into her mouth, including other peoples toes not just her own. So baby nat is squaking, lol, the piglet went through a period of squeaking which was at a level that only I and dogs could hear, it was endearing for the first few minutes but after that we all rather tired of it (except the piglet of course).

As for me, I am bloomin' knackered..................

Awww, I am glad all you mummies (and aunties!) are well. Emilia had her first settling in session at nursery today; I was so proud of her grinning wildly at all of the assistants, they all seemed smitten with her. I only had to leave her for half an hour but she didn't even bat an eyelid, not even a whimper! Fingers crossed it goes as smoothly when I return to work for real in a few weeks!

Well, about the baby weight.... I was lucky in that I didn't gain much weight that wasn't either baby or fluid retention so within a week or two I was pretty much back to my normal weight and my tummy was flat-ish. Well as flat as it is ever likely to be. However,...... as Emilia settled into a good routine very quickly from about five weeks old; I settled into an equally comforting routine of eating pretty much all day and so now am bigger than I was pre-pregnancy but due to my own lack of will power with regrds to the gym and grazing all day. I am back at work in a few weeks though so will easier get into a routine then. Oly problem is I can't fit into any of my work clothes! LOL

Mili is still squawking, it is getting louder and louder and more shrill with each screech. I am soooooo looking forward to her discovering a new noise.

P.S. PMSL @ peppers disguising themselves as mushrooms! Love it!
Aww I didn't know what everyone had had... congratulations to you all xx
Ethan arrived 3 weeks early, he was 3 months old yesterday and is now fitting into 0 - 3 clothes (he's such a titch!) I'm absolutely loving being at home with him and Ava (21 months)

I'm back at work in Feb which is coming round far too quickly. :( booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

My older three are doing well too, I'm a very proud mummy at the moment with their achievements at college and school.

awww lore Ethan is a titch isnt he, bless him.

Amelia wasnt even a titch at birth. 62cms long and 9lbs 6

Shes been in 3-6 month babygros since 2 months and is almost out of them now. Shes so long that all her dresses show her bum but if i get longer ones then they are gaping at the sides. lol
