I-phones ?

Hi Ive just been offered an i-phone by my mobile service provider.The thing is you need to pay for internet service on it too.Can anyone tell me how that works?Would you have a fixed ip address or would it be a varying one?How easy is the i-phone to use like maybe on answerbank?I know there are a few users here that use the i-phone and some that use nokias for going on chatterbank.Is it easy to use and is the screen size a problem or not?
