What's in a name.?

As two O.A.P.s who have been married for longer than AB has existed, we do wonder the basis on which some members have established their Usernames.
It's obvious that ours was 'home-made' to allow either or both of us to append a signature; which on this occasion is.........Viv & Ron.

Hiya Viv & Ron.
My original name (back in 1994???) was chappie, which is my real-life nickname, but I got a bit of stick from folk who thought I was really a fella pretending to be a woman. So the obvious answer was to stick the mrs on the front.
Occasionally I still post as chappie, but that is only because that name was never deleted (although I did ask) and when I sign in, it defaults to chappie and I have to change it to mrs.chappie. The problem is, sometimes I forget. I know I'm waffling so I will shurrrrrup now. [:o)
