Skiing and Site changes

Dear All,

I hope you are all having a good day today, I certainly am.

I only have a couple of things to mention and ask you about really.

Firstly: How do you think the site is going? Has it improved since September? What are your current thoughts on editorial policy regarding the Weekend Ed and the Late Ed?

We thought it might be a good time to open a dialogue with you all again regarding the site and the changes which have happened so far. We've recently tidied up the topics [+] and the [Refresh] button as well as adding a whole number of editors tools.

Secondly: JoggerJayne wrote an interesting answer the other week which I thought should not be
resigned to shuffling off the page like all the other answers:

Does it really make any difference? No one else can see your profile and even if they could, would the 'number of answers removed' have any real bearing on anything?

It's not a drama, its merely a question and whether it was possible to do anything about it? If it's not, then obviously case closed. Given our mutual dislike of each other no know, I'll let you have the thinking im getting my knickers in a twist about it, but lets be subtle here eh? Hardly wise to continue our bickering on a thread made by Ed.

well, I've had over a million answers removed. Thanks heavens they only delete the ones that are correct; if they removed wrong answers as well I'd really be in trouble.

Yes, I suppose the "collateral damage" statistics can be problematic. I will have a word with some of the techies. I think it might be worth considering properly when we get round to a rating/favourites system. Would anyone be happy displaying these stats to others if they were entirely accurate?

I imagine some users would be very proud to show what bad boys they are by demonstrating how many Qs and As they'd had removed; but I don't think this should be encouraged.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind that at all Ed- to be honest even though I initially brought up the topic (bet you're glad i didn't- arent you?) I wouldn't mind if you did that now. And I'd like to reitterate that though I did make a post about the post counts, I am not in a huff about it nor getting my knickers in a twist about it, i was merely asking.
