Good Day All,

I hope everyone is having a good day so far.

We've made a few changes to the site which we're ready to unveil.

We will be performing the upgrade at 4pm. The site will be down for an hour.

Here's what we've got for you:

1. New profile page layouts and buttons
2. "New" Colours: We've darkened the Red-Tops and changed the White text to Black. Hopefully this will hurt your eyes less.
3. Removed some visual clutter: Can you spot what we've shaved off?
4. Asking A question now "encourages" users to enter question details. I'd really appreicate feedback on this.

Remember to press "Ctrl+F5" to refresh your cache to see the visual changes.

Feedback is important - so let me know what you like and what you're less than happy with.

That annoying spinning advert for DVDs has moved from the right to the middle, so it is harder to ignore.

I suppose the site has to be paid for somehow.

It has been there in this section for some time Hopkirk.

The Amazon ads position depends what section you're in - this is the only section with the ad in a central space.

The position of that ad is annoying because you need to scroll down before clicking on 'last' or whatever.....

The site looks very nice, however could the Topic under discussion be highlighted more strongly in the left hand column when it is selected as it is not as good as before switch over. Thanks

I have got ad block Chuck, and it stops most adverts but not the spinning Amazon DVD one.

I find the Latest Posts panel harder to read, as the thread title, although bold and in red, is small than the black text info which I now find distracting...

Hi S E. Keep trying. I hit the 'subscribe to question' button and my comments to you have disappeared.

I was trying to say that you'll never please everyone; especially me if you have to retain all those flashing adverts. It's my view that all flashers should be locked away.!!
