. . . to put a shilling in the meter?

Now that AB has reappeared, after 15 minutes downtime, I can ask if anyone is grieving for this loss?

I just thought it was me getting a telling off Chris..LOL
Only got euro's in loose change here....
I think I've looked at the 'sport' once in my life. That was enough...
I didn't realise it was still on the go Chris. I remember all the furore when it was launched, but I can't recall ever having seen it since.
Oh, are we back?

I am.It came in handy seeing people who did read those so you knew to avoid them.
I rebooted and still had a 10min wait to connect.

While I wouldn't want to be seen dead with the Daily Sport in my possession, I still feel a slight tinge of sadness at the loss of something which seemed to be a last bastion of British eccentricity. (Where else in the world would a newspaper publish a front page story about a bus being found on the Moon? It could only happen here!)
I didn't even twig when I saw the front of the Daily Star on Sunday that they had a little box on the front of their paper with the message

"the Daily Star welcomes readers of the Daily Sport"

Some interesting arti(t)cles in it's heyday. A sad passing.....
Judge....a sad passing?? If I hear you say that again I will not send you any poker chips :-)
Down here with the West Briton, we would be lucky to get a headline of

"Bus seen in Falmouth street!"

or

"Royal Mail delivered on time !"
Sport goes bust!

Sport goes t*ts up!

Sport's out for the lads!

Don't mention buses to me, DTCF.

I've just discovered a brand new pub in Ipswich, owned by a tiny local brewery. It's got up to 18 real ales (including their own beers and guest ales) on at any time. They're sensibly priced, at around £2.50 per pint but you get 50p per pint off all of the brewery's own ales if you supply your own tankard! There's a direct bus route from where I live, with a stop right outside the pub. But, just as that superb pub has opened, Suffolk County Council has withdrawn all of the evening bus services! Grrrr!
:-(
