Question Author
well he always had a lived in face even as Mark Slate but he looked more like his dad now lol
Mark Slate? never heard of him, remember Noel from 1966!
Saw Noel Harrison perform that song at The Blue Angel club many years ago, his dad Rex was there also.
netibiza

mark slate was NH's character in Girl from Uncle
Rex harrison son, well i never, he must be as old as the hills,
never could sing.
wasn't that the title song in the original Steve McQueen film with Faye Dunaway, im having a senior moment because i can't remember the damn film title, even though i have seen it endless times.
The Thomas Crown Affair, ah ha.
Thomas Crowne Affair em
And your spelling was correct!
Question Author
Thoms Crown Affair
I know, i'm clever that way. But i do remember the film, i always thought she looked rather masculine, angular, but he was something else, Pierce Brosnan could never match up to Steve McQueen, just so cool.
I thought he was Richard Harris son !!!!
Rex was a real nasty piece of work apparently
please don't mention Richard Harris - makes me go all wobbly
Richard Harriss! Which films?
No def rex, he was a bit of a cad was rex, ladies man and all that don't you know.
Richard Harris, very nice..beautiful eyes, and another like Peter O'Toole, he was just too good looking to be a bloke, add Richard Burton, all roaring boys together. None of the namby pambys you get now, Brad, eat yer heart out.
em10 - precisely - to quote (I think ) Mae West - when men were men and women were glad of it
Burton and Harris both died young; much good their roaring did them. But I did like MacArthur Park. O'Toole is still around and still very good but he looks 90.
