My daft daughter apparently discovered yesterday that it was great fun to suck her lips right into a Sherbet fountain tube and did it many times before my husband noticed and stopped her. Last night I noticed her lips were swollen and darker than normal and this morning she looks like she' been smacked in the mouth with purple bruising on her lips.

Given that school starts the day after tomorrow is there anything we can do to make it fade fast? She feel very embarresed by it now so hopefully has learned her lesson although I wouldn't put it past her sister to try and see if it works for her!

No.
My little boy did the same thing last week with a calipo ice lolly, it took two days for the swelling to go - the purple bruising took a bit longer but wasn't as noticeable once the swelling had gone.

Thanks Lore, hopefully she won't look like a battered child at school then. Glad to know it's not only my little angels who manage to do things like this : )
