A paper bag with Thorntons on it was delivered to me today.
It said,if I go to www.surveystoday.co.uk and fill in the online survey, I will get a 6 digit Pass Code which I write on the paper bag.
I then leave the empty paper bag outside my front door before 9am and someone will leave me a free 100g full size bag of Thorntons Continental chocolates.
As I love chocolate I thought I'd give it a go but when I enter the website, it says 'This Page cannot be displayed.'
Anyone know why this should be please?
Being suspicious myself, sounds like a scam to me unless I'm being over cautious...who would leave chocs outside your door...(unless it's the milk tray man..)... strange things happen I know but sounds too good to be true.
Sounds very dodgy to me - who's to say that the chocs are OK, and not a nasty practical joke or a scam? If you enter details on a website (a sort of cold calling after all) who knows where they go? If the page can't be displayed, it sounds like a scam.
Not poor enough, I have two boxes of Thorntons Premium chocs still left from Christmas, one unopened and the other with six eaten. I find the centres boring, mostly mousse like chocolates. What has happened to the marzipans the cherry liqueuers and strawberry creams or hazlenut whirls?
Received one of these bags a long time ago and decided to complete the survey. After a short time I lost the will to live as they wanted to know everything but your granny's maiden surname.
Because Chris said this;
Surveystoday.co.uk is a legitimate website, set up by Acxiom, which is a major international company dealing in marketing solutions.
I decided to do the survey but only filled in the ones marked with an asterisk so hopefully will get the chocs tomorrow.
Thanks for all your replies.
