REM Song in SCi-Fi Channels

Anyone know the song used in the Medical Investigation advert on the Sci-Fi channel. I remember it being an REM song but cannot remember the name.

Its a melancholy song with the lyrics "Bad World" in the chorus. Sorry for the lack of info but its one of those song where I can sing the lyrics while the song is playing but can't remember them any other time!!!!

It might have been "mad world" by gary jules which does have an REM feel to it although its not by them
