Live 8

I set up the tape for live 8, as i was going to be out, and i set it up to the times it had in the radio time, but unfortunatly it was different to this, and it cut out at 16:15, and switched to bbc1 (i think it was REM on at the time, but i may be mistaken, i then had about 20 minutes of tennis, so, what did i miss? also i set it up to edit out the news, and i'm not sure it did it correctly, was there anybody between sting and Mariah Carey? thanks

I wouldn't take any notice of that running order!!  Half the songs listed are in the wrong order and just wrong!  REM didn't do "The One I Love" or "Losing My Religion" for example.  And Travis didn't do "Turn", they did "Side/Staying Alive" instead.

I think you probably would have missed Snoop Dogg's infamous set at about 4.30!

I'll put up my own (proper) running order if there's enough demand!
