Sorry I cannot stay silent any longer....the MOST pathetic advert on TV at this moment is the new Tesco ad with Ben Miller and Ruth Jones, where he 'attempts' to haggle the price over a box cornflakes....it is absolutely preposterous!!

Often think they do this .Make an awful advert just to get it noticed .Classic example was Terry's orange "no it's not Terry's it mine" .

You are right, it is certainly one of the worst ads. However, it does get your attention, even if it is for the wrong reasons. I shop at Tesco, but it certainly wouldn't encourage me to shop there if I didn't already do so. My choice for the worst ads goes to 118 118 - I thought they were directory assistance, but now I wonder.
