I went up and down to Inverness on Tuesday and there was a fair covering of snow.
The temperature gauge showed 1-2C most of the way until just south of Perth where it shot up to 14C.
The next morning I checked on the traffic cameras and the snow was completely gone.
We're doomed I tell ye, doooomed!
There are now major flood alerts on many rivers and rail services are being disrupted.

rain, wind and 10 degrees, one failed aga today - the 4th time in 2.5 days after a flailer took out the oil-line, some 70 metres long but 20m destroyed.
Take one plumber who only charged a tenner, 7 litres of oil in my leaf burning tank and we're back on now.
Half a log pile off a small truck stacked away, the rain came in though and I wasn't stacking logs in that.
Tomorrow the blocked drains - who would live in the countryside.....???
