Winter Wonderland
7 Answers
It was a few days before Christmas and the previously mild weather had dropped sharply overnight.
As I looked out of the window this morning, I was amazed to see the landscape was blanketed by a heavy fall of snow and it was still falling fast!.
It seemed like a magical place, full of wonder.
I pull on my wellies, wrapped up warm and threw a scarf around my neck, then took a stroll through the forest and up toward the moor.
When I got to the edge of the moor, I sat there and leaned back, against a bank beneath a clump of trees, to admire the lovely picturesque view.
I watched the snow flakes falling out of the sky and thought, how good it felt as it fell upon my face and eye lids.
It felt so good that I stuck out my tongue and allowed the fluffy flakes to melt in my mouth.
It was at this point When I looked up into the bare winter branches above and noticed two pigeons perched on a branch directly above my head.
Those dirty, disgusting b****y pigeon!!
