Speaking to my colleague a young lady in her 40's - she said one of her favourite chocolate is Toblorone

''Toblerone, out on its own,
Triangular chocolate.
That's Toblerone.

''Made with triangular almonds,
From triangular trees,
And triangular honey,
From triangular bees.

And oh, Mr Confectioner please,
Give me Toblerone.''

I asked her if she remembers the advert .
I was surprised she didn't .

Which prompted me to ask my other colleagues also in their 30's and 40's - they couldn't remember it either .

However they remember the Flake and the Cadburys Milk Tray ads .(Bit odd)
How old are you - do you remember the ad in question ?

I started singing the song in my head as soon as I saw the title of the thread.
I remember it. I used to love Toblerone. I always had some in my Christmas stocking.
54 and I remember it well.
Love toblerone, am finding it difficult to chomp off a bit though, not easy is it with triangular bits?
I remember the as, but think Toblerone should be made illegal. Awful stuff.

//I think I mean Flake, there was definitely some product or other being advertised. //

I think it was appalling, the way flake chocolates were exploited to sell women.......

"... do you remember the ad in question ?"

I do not recall that 1997 reboot but I certainly remember the original 1970s version with the cartoon (line drawing) imagery and softer soundtrack.
i see the cunning devils have increased the spaces between toblerone peaks, they'll be making the holes in polo mints bigger next

Yes, what a con aelmpvw. What a disappointment. It should be called Tobler-ohh!...
Yep, I remember it.
I thought there was a voice at the end of the add that said "Inspired by the Swiss alps you know"
