Gin nearly outsold fizz last Christmas and G&Ts are becoming ever more fashionable the world over.

I am currently sipping a William Chase and slimline tonic, I have a Tanqueray in the cabinet, but my all-time favourite is Opihr.

What's your favourite gin?

HaHa Baldric. I would rather have a full bottle in front of me, than a full frontal lobotomy.

Watenshi for me over ice of course, tonic is for the commoners.
My palate isn't sensitive enough to differentiate between gins. I just ask for a gin and tonic. :-) With ice and a slice.
Its become the new ultra snob drink. Thing is most gins taste the same when slackened off with tonic. I told someone at Xmas they were drinking a £50 a bottle gin and had them compare it to the bog standard stuff . They went on for ages about what a difference, you could taste the 'botanicals' whatever those are . LOL it was the same bottle of gin Aldis own make £11.99 a bottle!

Well the Queen is rather partial to a splash of Tonic with her gin.... perhaps she's a commoner.

Fabricated snobbery stands out a mile.

I like most Gins to be fair, Tilly, but I can't stand Gordons.

Cheers for the link, Ummmm.
If pushed to make a choice, I'd go for Bombay Sapphire because I like the name and the colour.
You'd love the street it is on, NoM, full of independent shops. It's recently won an award.
Is it within walking distance of the bus station, Ummmm?
I can't drink gin, its the only spirit that sends me proper do-lally, even though it's a short journey at the best of times.
I love a gin n tonic! I am a Gordon's fan.
rock rose or botanist
can’t even stand the smell of it.
Martin Miller's for me.
Mason's Yorkshire for me but with just a standard tonic. I find fevertree and the like compete rather than complement the Gin.

Sounds like heaven, Ummmm. I love places like that.

It does have that effect on some, Arky. I can't drink Vodka.

I like Bombay too, Tilly.

I like also gin with St Germain Elderflower liqueur, topped up with Lemonade.
plymouth gin
but there is a premium
( coz it is so good I suppose )

Lol Watenshi!!

The world’s most exclusive gin, available only in Selfridges, officially recognised as the world’s most innovative alcohol

Yeah full of snobs!

Zacs, have you tried the Fevertree Elderflower? It's divine.

I bought that one for my mum, Lady B.
Tilly...yes. 5 mins away, if that.
I love the feverfew range too. That elderflower is lovely and hard to get round here.
