Are there adverts that just anoy, anger or just rub you up the wrong way?

For me its the Cadburys ad with the girl paying with buttons.

What gets me is the fact that you see the mother on her mobile right beside a busy road. Lets assume that she knows where her daughter is. But hold on - if she knows the daugter has gone into the shop, why did she not ensure that her daughter had money!

But if the daughter has gone into the shop with no money then does the mother know where she is, or is she too busy on her phone to notice?

I rarely watch anything 'live'. I record and skim through the adverts. No idea what they're selling.
I hardly ever watch telly. (Since last Christmas I've watched The Voice Kids and a few old episodes of Last of the Summer Wine. That's it). So I can't really comment on TV ads, per se.

What annoys me though are those advertisers who think that simply taking the soundtrack from their TV ad and then using it on Classic FM results in something that sounds good and actually makes sense to listeners. There have been quite a few ads on Classic FM that, without the pictures, have made no sense to me at all until I happened to have had my telly on when the ad's been showing. I can only assume that they think everyone listening to Classic FM will have already seen the pictures that go with the sound!

I hate those SunLife Guaranteed over 50's ads

The "Bingo" Ads aargghhh
I happened to catch this the other day and I found it extremely irritating. At least it makes a bit more sense than the soundtrack alone though, which is exactly what they're currently using on Classic FM! Grrrr!!!!

And surely the kid in the Cadbury’s advert should have said, thank you.
^^^ If a child in an ad says "Thank you", Chrissa, it's to be hoped that they've got decent diction ;-)

As I said on the last annoying advert round up, for some reason yoghurt adverts irritate me.

What ?
Why put yourself in the position of having to listen to adverts by listening to Classic FM, Chris.? Radio 3 is full of good programmes: my current two favourites are Private Passions (Sundays at midday) and the brilliant Words and Music - usually early Sunday evenings, but available on i-player, as are previous episodes. And no annoying adverts!
I save Radio 3 for jazz and world music, GG ;-)
The life insurance ads like Beagle Street and Smart life. They are sooooo cheesy.
Or they walk into doors, yes.
I hate Rob bryden in those p&o ads.. Not everybody can afford those luxery cruises.. I hate it when he says "this is the life"
Philip Schofield and that bloody cat!!!

Agree on that one Sharon
