Adverts That Anoy You

Are there adverts that just anoy, anger or just rub you up the wrong way?

For me its the Cadburys ad with the girl paying with buttons.

What gets me is the fact that you see the mother on her mobile right beside a busy road. Lets assume that she knows where her daughter is. But hold on - if she knows the daugter has gone into the shop, why did she not ensure that her daughter had money!

But if the daughter has gone into the shop with no money then does the mother know where she is, or is she too busy on her phone to notice?

I remember many years ago that whenever feminine hygiene product adverts came on TV, my dad would become almost apoplectic and stomp out of you the room murmuring that this should not be allowed in "mixed company."

Doesn’t annoy but can’t understand the connection. Young girl then adults leave a village at night with torches. Walk across dunes then onto a beach to see a herd of horses coming towards them. The only connection is the horse with the logo. But what is all the other stuff about?

I too hate the postcode lottery ad, as well as the various life insurance ads.

I also detest the Colgate Total ad with the woman on the train making puppet impressions and then flirting with the guy standing next to her. Cringe!

that action man thingy..and the insurance ad when that woman pops in and they start discussing funerals ..jeezus..what a cheery neighbour ! lol...any with Parky in it offering a free pen....oh there's loads...usually go to loo or kitchen !

Ads don't usually bother me to the point of annoyance but I HATE the current spate of KFC adverts with the girls/women with the really common slovenly 'nod to the ethnics' accents and the way they say 99.
Yes I'm a snob and on this a bigot but it makes me so angry.

All the ads annoy me, but someone mentioned the over 50's insurance ads. In one of them, a woman says she has just taken out over 50's life cover, and the guy says "Congratulations!". What the fk is that all about? Congratulations my armpit!

I quite like the Philip Schofield ad. Not for Philip but for the gorgeous little kitty.

What about the paint one where the muddy dog shakes himself all over everything including the wee lass playing the piano. OK, so it wipes off the walls easily, but what about the other things in the room?

I'd don't often catch the the ads but the 'Flash' one with different lyrics (Obviously) but being a Queen fan it earworms me, and the ad irks me... I'm Just a man
