so travellers can travel and setup at will, when and wherever..but joe public gets fined or a telling off, double standards here, why is this allowed, it makes a mockery of so called lockdown.

They've set up on local empty car parks round our way too. I suppose its more difficult for the authorities to move them on under the current restrictions?

Letting travellers settle for a few weeks allows them easier access to medical facilities should they be needed. Surely no one would begrudge people such help if it was needed.

Baldric- Move them where exactly? By definition, they have no fixed address. You move them on and they just become someone else's problem, not to mention the risk of spreading any C-19 infections there may be.
