I Know Two People
Two separate people - female and male. The female has had lodgers but they have left and she said to me she is thinking of turning her house in to "Air and B". And the other guy says the same.
Now could anybody tell me the difference between Air and B and B&B. Also does the person who opens the Air and B provide breakfast.
Like I'm amazed at this as the lady - just has a pretty ordinary semi-detached house with only herself living it.
The guy (I have seen it) does have an apartment built in his garden some years ago. I am just asking - do they make breakfast and if the person who is staying in them - are they allowed to stay there in the apartment all day. Thanks for anyswers.

An AirB&B can be the entire property with no owner in residence, it can be a room or self contained part of a property within the owners home, it might be a doss on a sofa in a shared house with several others.
It could be for a few hours or longer term
It can be a camping space. Bring your own tent and equipment. So no bed, no breakfast. https:/
With Airbnb, one can choose to let out just a single room or an entire house. Further, you can decide whether to let your property all year round or just at certain times. (For example, some people offer their homes to others, via Airbnb, while they're away on holiday).
Despite the 'bnb' bit in the name, most people let their properties only on a self-catering basis.
Property owners are free to decide what to charge for their lets. They pay Airbnb to advertise their property on the website and for the insurance cover which comes with the service.
