Right or Wrong

I introduced my best girlfriend to this guy (Steve) that has been a close friend of my family. They never really ended up dating, but they did fool around a tad. She didn't want to date him because she wasn't interested in him that way...He wasn't really either. She began dating another guy frequently.
My boyfriend and I broke up so Steve started taking me out to help me get my mind of things. One thing led to another and we started this 'friends with benefits' relationship. I told my girlfriend that I've been kissin' him when we drink, and she said she doesn't care at all.
BUT
Last week Steve saw her out and she was drunk....she tried kissing him. (that's how she is when she drinks..no big deal)
BUT
This weekend she is having a big party and all three of us are going to be there. I love my friend more then life itself and I don't want anything weird to happen, and I don't want anyone to get hurt. That means I should stay away and cool it for the weekend with him? I think I just answered my own question. Any advice is much appreciated.

first shes your bessy mate you have to be there first so she doesnt look like a saddo at the start of the night

and second your leaving them both alone!! you do know that something might happen with you not there you have to be cool with that as well!!

No no, Im gonna go to the party. My friend would kill me if I didn't go. And your right she is definetly NO saddo. I also don't care if she tries kissing him because I am honestly only interested in him as a fling and he knows it. I just don't want things to get complicated for us (the three of us). So I think Im just going to back off Steve this weekend, and focus on my best friend and the party. It's not worth a complication just for a fling.

I guess the concern is what if I get drunk and pull him into the woods for a kiss and she sees,......Now that's what I don't want to happen, because she may get weirded out by that. Maybe I should just ask her?

yup you need to take preventitive measures me thinks and remember like you say you can say as many times as you want that you dont want to pull steve but when the vodka kicks in..........

im very intelligent and I would love to but I get a very big head when I get a good idea and someone else agrees with me and it would kinda be like
"ok steve and mate i know you were here at the start and this whole thing is your fault but im here now so i think i should really take over looking after the ladies so why dont you and mate go away and leave me to service dancealot and mate"

which would be unfair to them so unfortunately i would have to decline!
