Can anyone remember this rhyme, it went on & on & on. This is what I can remember.
Bronco Lane had a pain, so they sent for Wagon Train. Wagon Train was no good, so they sent for Robin Hood, Robin Hood lost his bow, so they sent for Ivanhoe. Showing my age here with the mention of these TV programmes!!Does anybody remember it?? It's been driving me mad. Nobody seems to have heard of it.

Thank you sniffa & mac44 for that. I thought I was the only person who remembered that, nobody I know has ever heard of it!! Thanks.
the last bit of this rhyme is significant because it refers to bruce forsyth who told this verse on the London palladium show around 1960 and he reverts back at the end to [i'm in charge'] his catchphrase on the palladium show at that time.
My memory recalls the line as 'Laramie stage lost all its cargo....and I was 9 years old when I watched Brucey say it on Sunday Night at the London Palladium. I'm 72. Now living in Tasmania. I have a you tube channel @penguinmal if anyone wants to check me out. Nice to see you to see you...nice. Mal.
