What crosses someones mind prior to having a facial Tattoo, ie Tear drops {below the eye} Cut here{around the throat.

Is it because,

1. immature
2. Drunk
3. Dare
4. Stupid
5. Fashion
6 Etc Etc

Do you know of anyone whos had facial Tattoos, and have they lived to regret it ie job interviews, Relationships etc

never had one,never wanted one, don't like them, having one on the face ? I would say 1,2,3 & 4 would have to play a part.

its them tatood eyebrows that are scary. And eyebrowe shapes change from one decade to the next. But really down to them its them that has to live with it.

i really do not like tatoos my mum has them on her arms and now at her age she hates them covers them up all the time even in the summer and so it put me off and i have never wanted one.

Lots of my friends have had them and they would be like im going getting a tattoo tomorrow and i would ask what they are having and they would say i dont know yet.
I can't understand why people would want to have something there for the sake of it.

Some people who have meaningful ones i can understand but i still wouldnt have one done.

When I worked for the Probation Service one of my clients had f... off tattooed across his forehead. Needless to say he never had a job.

usually people who have tattoos that extreme are tattooists themselves - needless to say they are surrounded by other heavily tattooed people

sometimes it can be for cultural/religious reasons. I am thinking of Maori facial tattoos. I guess that would fall under option 6?

I think it's sad that people may be judged because of the way they choose to decorate their body. For example, it certainly wouldn't affect your ability to do a job if you had facial tattoos, but depending on the line of work, you are a lot less likely to get hired. I understand the reasons why, but it doesn't mean I agree.

I say half of his face but its around his left eye and down his cheek??

there are some great camoflage makeup applications these days, so there could be more people than you think who are covering up!

there is a very famous actor who i know for a fact *ahem* has some stupid childish scrawl that he did on his leg as a child with a pin and indian ink, and has to use cover up whenever he does sex scenes or whatever...

im sure i remember watching a program on american gangs & gang members would have a tear tattooed below their eyes for each kill, or something along those.. kind of to show of their 'achievements'.

There's a guy round here who has everything that's ever visable covered in tattoos, bald head, face, hands, everything!!! He has loads of piercings too.

laurence i have met these people you speak of they all work ,and holiday at her majastys plesure they need no interview an empyt house ect and while they sit in there peters they tattoo each other. with indian ink ,my brother has them,mind you i havent seen him since he robbed me car and house .i was told he was working and it wasent in my direction. my spelling is criminal i think i will get the indian ink out ,maybe not with my spelling ha .ha .
