Is it really Shirley Bassey in the new Christmas fashion ad for Marks and Spencers or an impersonator? Heated debate here with differing opinions.

It really is Shirley Bassey! But it looks like she's been preserved in phermaldahyde or something, then stretched on a rack and painted with a roller in make-up!

She must be nearly 70 by now? Notice that her feet don't move much though. Perhaps she's being oprerated by strings?! ;-)

I reckon that she and Twiggy actually died years ago and they have just been stuffed and motorised, because M&S couldn't afford anyone else! ;-)

i do not think it is shirley. I think it is the woman who was on stars in their eyes a few years ago. I think she actually won the series. Shirley is still alive and well and still performing in concerts.
