When travellling in Ireland with a mobile phone what code does a mobile phone user in the UK dial to reach my phone in republic of Ireland? Both phones are with Vodaphone UK network.

The same number as they would in the uk . You won't even need the uk code(+44). The normal 07 prefix for mobiles will do.

We were in the republic at the weekend and had to add the +44 to phone or send texts. Try it without it first and if it doesnt work, try dropping the first 0 and adding +44
