Well I believe it to be the same song from Austin Powers. It is actually: I Touch Myself - The Divinyls Hope this clears up any confusion :o)

There's two versions of this song, the one by 80's cheap trick and one by letters to cleo which features in 10 things i hate about you. the song from the stepford wives advert is the letters to cleo version. hope this helps :) xx
