Little CRX experienced his first easter egg hunt yesterday.
4get, my brother and mum had got him eggs and a bunny and hid them in lounge for little CRX to find before we left. He had fun and was desperate to get home after with his little bag of goodies. I explained that he couldnt eat his little eggs in case there were chocolate birdies in them
I put him in car with bunny in one hand and bag handle in other.
He promptly fell asleep and usually sleep for the 70 mile drive. he woke after 15 miles screaming that he'd lost his bunny. 'and i loved that bunny' he was wailing as if he'd had it a lifetime.
I calmed him down and he went quiet, asleep again i thought, bliss. I spend next 55 miles with stereo up.
just pull into car park and a little voice says 'there werent any baby birdies in the egg'
Yep, youve guessed! I turned round and was faced with a chocolate covered face grinning at me. He had eaten a small chocolate egg and a milky way from the second egg and was trying to get his teeth into a larger egg that he'd unwrapped.
grrrrr.
