At the moment, my favourite is the fact that the CCTV screen is in my office so I can see the bosses and they cant see me.

Freedom.

I have worked for BT for 34 years, and the freedom and flexibility - I can get an afternoon off the same day, and a day off the day before - has enabled me to build a successful second career as a freelance music writer.
I can read all the magazines inbetween customers. Infact i've not bought one since I started working there.
Home time!
getting demo cars
No wonder BT is sh1te.
To be brutally honest, the hourly rate!!!! Never had it so good!

That I can sit on here for half the day and my boss doesn't mind.
I work in a severe dementia unit and the thing I like best is the happiness of nearly all the people I look after, between the jovial staff and the residents we have a great time (generally speaking) we obviously have some sad times as well but a great place to work and the loveliest people all around me, staff and residents. The funny thing is that of the 12 severe dementia residents I look after due to memory problems not one of them know my name and many don't even know their own name.

Probably the best job I ever had and also the worst paid!!

But that's care for you!!

The best thing is I can work as hard as I like or as little depending on my mood on any day.
best thing about my job is turning the engine off and locking the car door
Re-read my answer Doc Spock -

I mentioned my freedom to take my allocated holidays at short notice. I did not say that I work as a writer on BT's time - I don't, or that I use my office phone to dial around the world - i can't!

If you have BT problems - and don't we all, I would be very flattered to think that my holidays in any way affect the workings of a multi-billion pound global communications company - but I think that would be over-estimating my position in the scheme of things somewhat.

You have free time don't you? Guess what - so do I!
best thing about my job...hometime/payday!:)
there genuinely is nothing good about my current job with royal mail. 6 an hour, monotonous tasks, boring ppl. its a nightmare. perhaps flexi time...
Maternity leave :)
I cook in a care home for adults with mental health issues......so that alone is gratifying,I get paid crap...but I am pretty much my own boss.
Upside - excellent pay, good IT toys, meals out with clients, treats from suppliers, good atmosphere etc.

Downside - 3 hours travelling on top of an 9.5 hour day.
Freedom, good people, friendly atmosphere, money, learning new stuff and passing the sea-side to and from work.
I love my job and the fact that I never know exactly what I am going to be facing when I get there ! Lots of different technical queries arise, I get to go and sort them out and meet loads of lovely people (and a few not so lovely ones... lol) but every day brings fresh challenges (not allowed to call them problems these days). Good job I like driving though - it can be 3 - 4 hours a day on the road !
The MILF'S I see on delivery.
..........going home...and I sit next to a cutie wutie chick.....
