Pretty sure it was maltesers
it was Minstrels - maltesers most certainly do melt in your hand! :)
Well, I think it was Treets - were they the forerunners in nomenclature of Minstrels or M&Ms - or are they the same?
They were Treets
It was Treets, and as proof of how old the ad. is - it featured a young lady wearing cotton gloves as a fasion item, showing that the chocolate had not melted onto her gloves - how long since anyone under the age of sixty wore gloves in the interest of looking trendy?
"M and M's, that M & M's feeling, the milk chocolate melts in your mouth (not in your hand)". Or something to that effect.
It was Minstrels, they used to be called Chocolate Treets
No answer from Becks here?
I always thought it was Minstrels,What about Revels?
M&Ms......Melt in your Mouth?
M&M's
Minstrels.
It has been used by at least three companies, so most of you are right (except country_boy - it was never Maltesers). Firstly it was used by Treets, then Minstrels and then M&Ms. It could well have been used by others since.
I'm pretty sure it was minstrels.
This one goes way back and its definitely maltesers.
Minstrels. I've just eaten a load at the flicks watching Collateral!
It's NOT Maltesers! They jolly well do melt in your hand. And were Minstrels REALLY called Chocolate Treets? I remember Minstrels as big round things resembling oversized Smarties, and Treets as randomly-shaped nugget-type things.
Treets!
Have you ever held maltesers country_boy???? it was defo minstrels..
Definately M&Ms. Just had a packet.
