Why do 'hillwalkers' (I use the description very loosely) have to endanger the lives of so many others with their actions?

Isn't it about time this sort of thing was made an offence?

They should be named and shamed, and made to pay the cost of the rescue plus a donation to the rescue services. Hit them where it hurts - in the pocket.

Last time I looked brionon, millions of drivers going about their business travelling in vehicles on various worldwide road networks isn't classed as a recreational activity.

The brain-dead knuckle draggers who endanger themselves and up to 30 rescue service personnel in atrocious weather conditions ought to be brought to bear the full cost of their stupidity.

When I was in the Army, it was known as the Seven P's. :

It's an edict these morons would do well to heed.

Absurd comparisons really really get on my nerves.

I remember brionon last year trying, and failing, to compare people who laughed at the (very funny) Russel Brand and Jonathan Ross affair with Nazi guards at concentration camps laughing at Jews on their way to their death's.

No, I couldn't work out the connection either!
