What I have read is too vast to copy and paste or even to post links to, but suffice it to say that the one thing that has been blown out of proportion is the level of support for Amanda Knox.
I wasn't aware until this evening that, instead of attending the memorial service for her murdered flat mate, she went out for a pizza !
Also, the police caught her cleaning up the crime scene when they turned up !
Amanda's blood-stained footprint was found under Kercher's body. Is it possible that Meredith was not murdered in her bedroom, which would account for the lack of forensic evidence found in that room?
The window was broken after the murder (fact !!) as the broken glass was found on top of the strewn clothing. Who, but someone who knew Meredith, would want to make it look like a break in?
Why was the propery cleaned so much, that even Knox's fingerprints were not found on the cutlery?

But did you read the "what we've been told" reports, HB ... or the direct reports of the adduced evidence.
One thing that the Police have done well in this case is to flood the Press outlets of the World with their own descriptions of what happened.
As I read that, the only footprint discussed in Court was put forward as Raffaelle's ... but was totally different from Rafaelle's, and turned out to be Rudy Guede's.
By the time of the Memorial Service, the Police had "named" Amanda as the murderer! Would Meredith's family have been delighted to welcome her to the Memorial? Wasn't she in custody by then?

Is support for Amanda over-stated ?
According to TIME magazine, only a minority of people (46%) believe she had a fair trial.
So if you believe Amanda was fairly tried and convicted ... you hold a minority view !

If she was in custody, JJ, she could hardly have gone out for a pizza !
I read mostly the findings of investigative journalist who conducted their own inquiries and put forward all the evidence, for and against. And the overwhelming feeling among them is that Amanda Knox is guilty. Yes, much of the evidence in the case has been challenged. But evidence challenged is not evidence refuted.

No ... not when you are a Jury member facing a Prosecutor with a track record of arresting innocent people, and threatening them if they did not confess to crimes they have not committed
(a mistake he made when one of his victims turned out to be a Guardian journalist!)
If you cross that Prosecutor ... or embarrass him ... beware for yourself and your family !!
Still ... the Appeal Court won't be afraid of some hick-town, cowboy Prosecutor. They will free Amanda.
