Is using the word black in a title racist and therefor illegal

No. It isn't racist to describe a person as black, and there is nothing illegal about using the word black in the name of an organisation .

We read to kill a mocking bird in english in january and had a big discusion about racism and stuff like blackboards and baba black sheep being classed as offensive. It turned out, that the only black person in the class agreed with us, that its rediculous and said that it would be like us saying songs with white in them are offensive such as whiter shade of pale. But could you imagine the outrage if there was a dark versio, there would be riots if a song called blacker shade of dark came out.
