CATS AND KITTENS
4 Answers
My year old cat gave birth 3 weeks ago to 6 kittens and they are all doing well. The problem is my son and I are moving on Monday, will I be able to take the cat and kits with me or will I have to wait a few more weeks before I move them?

She won't want to wander very far from her kitties anyway and I'm sure she will be ok as long as you can be there and she is reasured that all is well. It's the same when you move house without kittens, have a litter tray nearby and her food and drink in a place she knows. Good luck.
Make sure you move them all in a box together so mother can see that the kittens are all with her - but do be prepared that the mother may try to hide the kittens or move them about when you get to the new house, to make sure they are safe. It might be an idea to keep them all shut in one room for a few days, until she feels secure and gets to know the smell of the new house.
