To all my AB friends, I am sad to say we had to make the very hard decision and have Bella put to sleep this morning, she was letting us know that she was tired, so we took her to the vets, she was taken real bad in the waiting room, once in the consulting room our vet said there was nothing left to do for her, so my dear friend is now sleeping peacefully. thankyou all WHF
So sorry for your loss of bella x
all pets are an extension of families , just remember all the good times you had with " your girl " grieving will take forever and a day i know ....xx
So very, very sorry whf. I know exactly how you will be feeling now and it's not nice. They leave such a huge gap don't they? No more pain for Bella now, just peace - you're the one suffering now. You loved her and she loved you, that's all that matters. Love is everything. Goodnight, God bless beautiful Bella xxxx
So sorry! Its very hard as I know from experience. I had to have my dog Sally put to sleep last week. Try and think about happy memories. I got a lot of comfort from the sympathetic people on here. Thinking of you.xx
When my first dog (and my first love) was put to sleep I was terribly upset but also a bit relieved that he was no longer in pain and I no longer had to wrestle with the decision of what to do.
She was a good age for a large dog and she was obviously loved very much.
It is the only downside of having a furry friend - they have such a short time on the planet.
I am so sorry, WHF. I really thought that she would be on the mend as the vet had seemed to be treating her condition correctly. Perhaps her dear, big heart just couldn't take the strain.
I had to have my beloved Hamish put down back in May and I still think I see him sometimes.
All you can think is that she couldn't have had a better life, or a kinder owner. She would look back and say that she had a very good life.
Dear WHF and family - bless you for making the right decision for your lovely Bella. It was the greatest gift you could give her and selfless of you to do it. So sorry for you all ♥
A lot of 'right' decisions are hard but you did what needed to be done for the good of a much loved friend. Many, many animals don't have that so Bella was indeed, a very lucky dog. xC
I am so sorry to hear about your lovely Bella. You did all you could and have taken the very sad decision to do the best thing for her. Run free at the bridge Bella xx Hugs to you WHF
thankyou all so much, I am writing this through tears. We know she is at peace and playing with her friends in that beauutifull doggy heaven, I must tell you all this, as we left the vets in Newport Pagnall, we drove for a minute and the church bell's were ringing, that alone gave me some comfort, it was if they were ringing for her, I know they were. Godbless you all for your kindness over these hard days. WHF
